Police Officer Gets Charged With a DUI on a Boat

July 29, 2006 · Leave a Comment

Not too long ago a Charlotte police officer was charged with a DUI while driving a boat.   Being a police officer you would think that he knew better than to operate a moving vehicle while intoxicated.  Maybe he thought that he was above the law…or perhaps he just didn’t care about the consequences.

The repercussions of drinking while operating a boat are the same for those who drink while operating an automobile.  The consequences could include fines, possible jail time, and license suspension.  For penalties in the San Diego area, visit: http://www.sandiego-dui-lawyer.com/punishment.htm
